Tip: Arriving in Delhi by HRTC bus
If you are arriving in Delhi from Himachal Pradesh, the HRTC buses stop at Himachal Bhavan. Himachal Bhavan has rooms to rent and a cafeteria. Buses from Shimla come very early mornings, it pays to stay in Himachal Bhavan at least few hours. But it is advisable to book in advance. Bus Delhi - Jaipur
Delhi and Jaipur are two corners of the Golden triangle of India (third one is Agra).
jaipur the `Pink City' as it is popularly known, is the capital of Rajasthan.
Delhi to Jaipur by bus is 281 KM and takes about 5 hours.
Rajasthan State Road transport Corporation runs comfortable AC Volvo buses (Fare Rs 460)

Delhi - Jodhpur
Delhi to Jodhpur, is 14 hour bus journey, so I would prefer trains.
But if really, really last minute and can't get the train tickets, you can usually get the bus ticket same day.
